About Us
We’re a mother-and-daughter duo breathing new life into our 60+-year-old family farm. What started as a shared dream has become a daily adventure filled with muddy boots, learning curves, and plenty of laughter.
As we restore and revitalize the land, we love sharing the real-life moments—big wins, small joys, and everything in between—that come with farm life.
Our Mission
Sharing our Homesteading journey of: being self-sufficient, living simply, getting back to our roots, breaking away from commercialism, growing your own food
About Roxy
Born and raised in Rochester, Minnesota, Roxy grew up on the family farm with cows, pigs, mink, rabbits, chickens, guinea hens, ponies, cats and dogs. She learned self-sufficiency and gardening skills from her mother who did everything from growing food, seed-saving, canning produce to sewing most of the clothes we wore growing up. Roxy was involved in 4-H and girl scouts in her youth and now that she has retired, she and her daughter, Tara, are devoted to rejuvenating and preserving the family farm.
About Tara
Also born and raised in Rochester, Minnesota, Tara is a third generation homsteader.
